UPDATE FROM BOB FRYER
The closing date for any submissions regarding the planning application FUL/2018/0842 is Friday 15th June. The application is to install two new highways access junctions on land west of Green Lane ( next to the Primary School) and the junction of St Martins Road/ Green Lane / Howes Lane. The Highways Authority has lodged an objection which can be seen on line. They say that the proposed roundabout is too close to the bridge over the A46. They want a three month delay for discussions with both Authorities. No projection flows have been made for the impact of the new housing numbers. Very few surveys have been made to measure the existing problems on these local roads.
Please use the opportunity to make your views known. We need to stop this access from the Kings Hill site while we can.
