Bob Fryer

Most of you will know by now of the sad passing of Bob Fryer, a man I have referred to as Mr Finham in recognition of all the dedicated work he did for Finham over many, many years.

As a result of the corona virus it is not possible to have more than five people at his funeral, which is scheduled for 3.00pm at Canley Crematorium on Wednesday 22nd April.

The cortege will be leaving The Graylands in Finham at 2.30pm and proceeding along the A45 to the crematorium.

For those of you who know Bob and like me have a huge respect for him not to mention debt, it would be good if as many of you as possible could line the route and applaud the passing of a man who has done so much for us, yet most of us don’t know it.

We are all aware of the present restrictions but everyone is allowed out for exercise once per day and this could include lining the route where we can observe the rules by keeping 6 feet (2 metres) apart.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there to offer our final goodbyes to a truly worthy servant of Finham.
